If its the hole where you get the knife then you cannot get it up unless you enter the powerarmor and then toggle noclip to fly up.

hmmm, maybe fast travel? thats if you can reequip it. errr read post below....if you jump down there with power armor...oh boy, power armor dont float it sink always. if no save then bring up ~, make sure you target it to get id #, disable. then swim up out of water and ~ again and enable it back. dont know the exact wording to use and it might not work

Maybe load a save before you jumped in to get Kremvh's Tooth.

Edit; You can buy PA frames from Atom Cats garage in the southeast portion of the map, near The Castle and Spectacle island. Atom Cats also sells T-60 parts to add to the frame.

WOOOOT! Another one! There was a post about this maybe a month or so ago. Someone Suggested you take a Human Companion with you and Command them to get in it. Dunno how that went, but, I think the OP found it easier to load up a previous save. Too bad the Jet pack doesn't work. Or Does it?

I have managed to get a companion to enter a completely submerged power armour frame and then transport back to me along with the frame, but it involved a lot of refusals as they kept telling me they couldn't reach it (I was repeatedly sending them into the water and giving directions to enter the frame, and at one point they happened to do it). Weirdly, they teleported instantly to my side once they were in, but I have no idea whether that's normal for the circumstances.

It was something I tested out on a beach at Spectacle Island because I was interested to see whether or not it was possible.

It was me. It's technically possible, as I wrote above, but it was really fiddly, and being down a deep hole is only likely to make it more difficult (if I remember correctly, you can't command your companion while you're underwater yourself).

open the console, click the power armour and use

modpos z 500 ...or whatever number gets it high enough
modpos x/y 50 ....will move it north/south or east west 50 inches in case it is in a wall. use negative numbers to go the opposite direction

if you cant click the armour go back to a previous save and find the code

Oh Snap! I could've sworn I read you reloaded the previous save. I'll Browse back in my Post history and read the rest of the Thread. Good know you managed to get it out and I wasn't completely BSing.

There is a Water hole in a Dungeon, you get a pretty powerful knife there.
I jumped in with Power armor too, but figured out it was lost down there and reloaded my Last save.

Either loot the piece on the frame and leave it underwater or grab something like food or armor that make you breath underwater and walk it out of the water. You can't get it out of there (the dunwich hole) unless you manage to send a companion in it and run far away so your companion can respawn next to you.

it was dark and i didnt realize

This is how I did it without cheating.

I had a feeling when I dtopped down into that hole that I'd be losing my power armor.
Once I knew I couldn't get out while in my power armor, it dawned on me to salvage it.
So I just stripped the armor from the frame and swam out.
I chalked it up as a loss worthy of not repeating, then went to Atom Cats and bought a new frame.
