Lagging & Audio issues?!
ok so its been over 3 months no since i could enjoy this game now since then all ive been doing is talking to microsoft assistants, NVIDIA agents and my one and only manufacteror... and they are all stummped.

To be exact the issues im having is, when i start the game it would run just fine for 5 minutes..cool right? man i love every second of it, then all of a sudden i start to hear this slowly creeping up audio crackling static like sound and the longer i play the louder it gets no worries though because im not even playing that long enough anyway because the games frame rate is as bad as a Dishonored 2 flip book!
Also to add on when i talk to people in the game their last part of the sentence is always cut off.

So i want to know from the gamers perspective have any of you had my issues? and how did you fix it?

P.S. im also having these same issues with Witcher 3,Skyrim,Doom, and Dishonored2(i lost hope in dishonored so dont worry about that.)

Probably overheat as your specs is quite low and it's a laptop.
i dont understand it worked just fine and dandy 3 months ago, (GTA 5 can still run just fine on my lap top)
Oh and to note, back becore i reverted my Laptop back to windows 8.1 from windows 10 i managed to fix the problem with the audio. But since i reset my whole laptop and went back to 8.1 thinking it would fix the lag the audio problem came back. I just dont remember how i did fix it though.

Time wears everything down. Even if it could handle it 3 months ago, your laptop could have degraded over that time. Not necessarily just the components themselves, but the cooling system can and will get worse. Unlike most of the people here I don't actually enjoy telling someone their system is too weak to play the game, but yours really is. Turn absolutely everything in the settings to the lowest you can, and hopefully someone can come and help you more. All the best, hopefully I'm wrong and there is an actual problem instead of your system being too weak
@beautiful ham sandwich,

Thank you for keepin it real with me n not "lap tops are only for flash games" attitude BS.
It could be possible that my lap top just aint running like it use to anymore. Or there could be some kinda driver im missing idk ive tried every damn thing with chat support and no results. I respect your opinion on that matter because worse comes to worse i need a new lap top or pc.

Sounds like it's probably driver related then...

Check your graphics drivers. Latest ones from nvidia (378.49, which you're using) are ♥♥♥♥♥ so use DDU to remove them, and get an earlier version. 376.33 seem to be about the best at the minute (for desktop at least, not sure about laptops).

Also check your audio drivers. No idea what the best is for Toshiba audio devices, presumably the latest ones on Toshiba website...?

I'm 90% certain it's a problem with the graphics driver though.

Right u see what im sayin, i know im not crazy, i straight up reset my whole lap top 3 days ago (the time when the audio was fine in the big titles i fixed but the lag was still 100% real) n been working on the issue for about 30 hours now damn close straight, bethesda suggested i do the ddu removal process but told me to download the latest driver. But ill try out ur idea and let u know wassup. As for the audio... i heard some solved connections about my issue towards audio which is Trouble shooting? Maybe someone could break it down on how i should go about that or has a better idea.

Just done a quick google of your model number, and it looks like the realtek drivers are what you want (source[www.google.co.uk]).

These[www.guru3d.com] have just fixed an unrelated problem for me, first time in about 5 years a realtek driver has been good for my system lol.
I managed to fix some issues with the lag taking Big Boom Booms advice into consideration in my other post in the Witcher 3 section. The game runs smoother than it has before in 3 months. now im just having issues with the audio issue specially on cutscenes. When somone talk the last part of the sentence is always cut off because of the horrible studder in the audio.

Update your motherboard sound driver. Find out what model it is, go to manufacturer support page there should be quite a number of updates there.

Newer motherboard tends to have these AppCentre that you can do driver update for mobo thru it.

They won't fix it, because the problem here is more than likely that your fps isn't high enough to keep the lip sync correct. We've already gone over this in another thread: your computer is far too slow to run this game correctly.

I dont think you heard me before my lap top ran witcher 3 and fallout 4 just fine ever since they dropped. 3 months ago i started to have issues with witcher 3 and all my bethesda games even skyrim. You think im just in denial that i imagined that those games worked?
