Any Settlement Vetirbird Patrols mods?
So I'm doing a hardcore militristic Minutmen playthough, where I'm roleplaying a Pre-War combat engineer. I've already outfited the minutemen with combat armor and assualt rifles as standard, but I feel I need to expand a bit more on my crafting/ building engineer part of my general character.

Is there any mods that allow you to build vertibirds to patrol your settlments? Like say you build a Helipad that respawns a veritbird every so often to fly over you're settlment's air space. If nothing else, I'd like to add a bit more life and atmosphere with the whirl of rotaries or minguns, as raiders and mutated animals get butt s e x e d with automatic hellfire from the skys.:Dossenus:

Help a citizen of the commonwealth out?

There is a mod that lets you build vertibirds, but I have no idea if they actually fly or if they're purely for show (besides the mod that lets you build mini, drone-sized Vertibirds that DO fly around shooting enemies but that's absurd so I doubt you want that).

Kinda looking for something along the lines of set a helipad or something that spawns one in and stays in the air above my settlments.

No I get what you mean, and the mod I'm talking about does let you built helipads, I'm just saying I don't know if they stay on the helipad as a decoration or if they actually take off and patrol.

I think I found what I was looking for.

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5398/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D5398&pUp=1

But I can't get it to work. I have all the required perks and materials but I can't make them for whatever reason.

So you want a vertibomb flying in an endless circle over your settlement till a supermutant makes it crash right onto your head?

Sounds like fun..

Combined arms my friend.

Yeah Vertibirds have the substatiality of tissue paper, but good luck shooting them down with two dozen plus minuetmen with full auto, and every heavy machine turret I can fit, focus firing whatever hostile down.

That is if I can build them.

In that case the vertibird is a flashlight added to lighthouse lamp :>

Yes! I got it working!

Turns out I just lacked aluminum. Didn't notice there was a small arrow pointing downwards, showing more material reqs.

Vertibirds are like the dragons in Skyrim. Can be killed by 2 bandits. Who the ♥♥♥♥ needs the dragonborn. Everytime a Vertibird spawns somewhere, I always hear that *beep beep beep uiuiuiuiuiui Baaam* after less than a minute.

They haven't dies for me yet. Thankfully, they're more intrested in my turrets.

...Though yeah, I conced Bethesda dropped the ball on how fragile they are. I think the ones made in this mod are made stronger.

In fairness they are based on a real world design that is best known for being prone to spontaneous combustion.
