Nuka World Open Season bug
I'm trying to kill off the gang bosses, but they're marked essential. I've tried Mason and William so far and they both just fell down like the companions do when they got to zero health.

I actually got the Open Season quest early on, but I wanted to explore first, so I finished the Grand Tour before trying to take out the bosses. I also finished Precious Medals and Cappy in a Haystack and got the X-01 suit from Starport Nuka, if that makes any difference.

Is there something else I need to do first, or am I just have to going to make them non-essential in the console?

You got the quest to kill the leaders? like a list of all their names? I waited till the last moment to kill them. Though i started out on the street and moved into each area gang's stronghold. That way i had to Kill Gage first.

You got the Power armor inside the Starport ? So you turned on the power? I don't know if Open Season is still an option. Cause you would have had to move your raiders into the commonwealth to get the power running.

Yes, I got the quest from the doctor lady in the marketplace, and when it's activated I get the quest markers for each of them.

I didn't turn on the power yet. The star core in the junkyard respawns after a while, so I didn't have to.

Ahh okay, Did you try killing the Raiders from the streets of nuka world? Maybe The leaders need a moment to turn killable.

I finally got it to work. I had to point-blank shoot them after they fell down to get them to really die (figured it out after shooting Mason in the head out of sheer frustration lol)
