Perception Bug

So i've just noticed that my perception instead of its right value(6) is set at (-)1
A quick search through the internet and i've found that other people experienced this bug that seems to happen when you get your head crippled and restoring it doesn't bring back the right value of PER
Unfortunately i dont have a recent save without the bug(im playing survival so PER is less noticeable since enemies on compass don't appear) but i don't want this crap bug out (VATS is influenced by it)
Now i have a save with the head crippled but even by using a stimpak,get healed by a doctor or through sleeping i'm not able to get the right number
No console cause of survival
Any idea?I've also tried to eat food which modify PER but it's fixed to 1
Game is still playable but how these little problems aren't fixed immediately?

I some how have +4 more endurance than I should. I checked all my equipment, and whether I have any buffs from chems/effects, but nothing even adds +1 endurance let alone 4. I should have 2 endurance, but I have +(6) for reasons I've been unable to find.

This game is so weird. lol

Supposedly getting crippled in the head again sometimes fixes it. You can try using some of the defensive traps to shoot yourself in the face. There's a fixed position gun that fires when given a signal that might work well for that. Just stick your eye right up to the barrel and press the button.

I don't know how much damage it does. It may kill you in one hit, or it may take several hits to cripple you. Save right beforehand obviously.

Had the same problem, fixed it my way.

1) download enable console on survival (if you play at survival)

2) player.modav perception "number you desire, in my case my default was 5 so I wrote 5"

3) save

4) uninstall mod

5) profit, should enable achievements aswell

Anyway i think it's just a display error because you are still able to unlock perks
You could try to install the mod for using console on survival and set the desired value of perception by considering the malus
The only problem is losing the possibility to achieve steam achievements but there's another mod to fix the problem
Still not a big problem that can be risolved by the game randomly

Should I play normally hoping it will be fixed somehow or what,I dont want to use any mods ever!!! Changing value with console sucks,I dont want the M next to the save.

Ahh,I will probably play with bug,I HOPE IT WILL BE FIXED SOMEHOW.Well if I pick Nigt Person perk my PER will be -8 so its not that bad,but Im still angry why no one paying attention to this.

I've played for like 50 hours with the bug,it's not a big deal because
-in survival enemies don't appear in the compass no matter the value of your perception
-spav still works

just raise your perc to 6-7 and then use sunglasses or other armor to easily arrive to 4-5
as i've said the problem something resolves by itself and trust me,you'll notice zero differences when this will happen
What makes me angry is the fact that the problem is really stupid,it's just a number to fix -_-

I tired everything
even used bypass mod but that made me worse[gave more negative perception :( ]

this instuction solved the problem and got the perception that I wanted

"enable console on survival" mod can be found in Nexus mod

You can also drop to a normal difficulty, then fix it, then use a console command to enable survival again.

I dont remember the command it has been posted a few times. You are going to have to dig for it.

This worked, however, to reset my perception I had to use -2, instead of the actual number of my perception. And I used this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14650/?

It's great because I play without power armor and it's very difficult and frustrating on survival, because of no save options and the game is designed in such a way that it can take more than an hour to clear an area. And sometimes I forget to save.

So:
1. Install that mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14650/?
2. Choose console as extras while installing (I did through Vortex)
3. player.modav perception -2 in console

Modav is to raise or lower the value. The value is is showing right now is what you are going to modify. The command setav is to set to a specific value. Why did you decrease your perception by 2? Did the - sign go away?
So, lets say your perception should be 6 but there is a - sign next to it and it shows as 5. That means the perception bug is constantly lowering your perception by -1 all the time while playing. It does not affect what perks you can get because the game knows that it should be 6. But, while playing, you only get the "benefits" of having 5. If you want to counteract the bug, you need to increase perception by one. Then you will have 6 while playing. But you will have an extra level in the perks screen that you can abuse or not.
