I didn't. I actually stumbled upon it and ended up guessing it. After the first two letters and having heard about them a few times in flyers was it my first guess and *woosh* ...

You don't need to follow the trail!

R - A - I - L - R - O - A - D

If you mess up, just start over. Every time you press R followed by A it knows you've started over. You don't have to do the quest to get there. You don't have to follow the trail. You can walk right up to the church, clear to the basement, use the decoder ring (lol) and get in.

got it thanks bois
That's some serious password security there.
What a bunch of morons, using railroad as a password. Practically same as using your login as a password.

No wonder Institute laughs at them.

You have to remember that most people in the Commonwealth can't read.
Morrandir May 8, 2017 @ 5:20am
They could have at least spelt it backwards

I wonder what passwords Bethesda rejected before coming up with that one.

Probably "1234" (Todd's luggage combination) but they then decided to make it much "harder" :P

Yet, somehow, they are the only faction that can unlock the armor weave which is insanely op.

60-70% of our cliens have passwords like
Password123
Abcd1234
123
In Real Life. No kidding.
One customer asked me to modify the AD group policy and disable strong pw/8-character so moron #1 can have 123 for password.

And yet they wonder why so many people, institutions etc get hacked.
