Why are there no crafting Perks?
I want a Perk that cuts the concrete requirement to build items with in half. I spend way to much time trying to buy concrete. I used 3000 concrete just to build Starlight Drive Inn.

What crafting Perks would you like to see added to the game?

Well, if you've used 3000 concrete units alone then you'll probably have exceeded the build limit and you've been using the drop'n'store trick to extend the limit or a mod. The game was however not designed for massive settlement buildings. One can reach the build limit rather quickly. Point then is when you've probably already cheated or used a mod, then you should just keep doing it. Get a mod for it, use console commands to clone more concrete into your inventory, etc..

Or play the game the ordinary way, buy concrete shipments from vendors, clear out construction sites, basements, mines, etc. for concrete, stay below the limit, and so on.

Lack of concrete is a serious problem if you like to build with foundations or the concrete set, but there are mods to fix it. One mod I use adds more resource shipments to vendors, which is the most balanced I think. Same cost, just you can buy like 500 at a time instead of buying 100 and waiting a few days and repeating. Then I used Northland Diggers more recently, it has a stone cutting bench that generates 300 concrete every couple days if worked by a settler, you can build a few of them and create a lot of resources very quickly. It's a tad on the OP side though.

Nah. Starlight has a decent build limit and foundation blocks use very little since they are just simple cubes. Not long after release I made a giant fortress in Starlight using the wood and concrete foundation blocks, think I used like 5k concrete and didn't hit the build limit, and I never extended the capacity at all.

If you managed to use 5000 concrete without hitting the build limit then you might want to try Minecraft. Because, let's be fair here, there is a lot more than just concrete structures what you can build with and you'll have to fill it up with some reasonable interiors such as beds, tables, chairs, doors and much more.

Anyhow, not saying it's impossible, but changing the build style just a little bit might solve a lot of problems...

If you want you can just pretend that there is such perk. Just delete one of your current perk points (or two) and give yourself some free concrete.

Damn, that's smart. XD

Never thought of it myself. Gonna have to make a note for that one.

I'm not the best builder, but I was happy with what I built and I did fill out a lot of the interior.

I didn't get close to the build limit until I was filling in the dining area, which was the last thing I built.

Then you are out of luck because the game is done. They aren't going to add anything else.

Mods are what makes this game great.

You should get sim settlements mod. That one turns the game from a boring building game into a sim citylike experience
