How to use Vault-tec power conduits?
I watched guides on how to use them, but when I place them on my walls, they don't power up lights or do anything.

Are they connected to a power source with cables? And are the lights within range?

The lights are in range, but I thought they weren't supposed to be connected to a power source because the power flows through the walls and floors?

Only the vault structure pieces carry power, and only if snapped correctly to each other. Then you have to actually get power into them by wiring your generators into a conduit on a wall. Then you can place another conduit anywhere else in your vault and it will draw the power through the walls and turn on lights around it.

I will add that the Vault-Tec reactors can supply power by being snapped directly onto other vault pieces without requiring an attached wire (but you still need wall conduits to deliver that power to lights and powered devices).

If you're instead looking for breaks in the flow of power, I suggest selecting a light and walking around near the wall conduits without placing it to see which ones can radiate power.
