This game is awful for Role playing game. I cannot immerse my self in main character at all. Leveling is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful simiar way like in skyrim. Infinite lvl sure is fun but when you lvl is limited to only survivality buffs and nothing to make you more unique in world.

Your mostly shooting and saying yes and no with sarcasm dialogo added in this game. Building own home is decent idea but its broken by game´s bad lvl and your need for certain perks to make your home dreamy in your desing. Like make drug, science based eguiment based warboss home but you cannot steal workbenches from anywhere and you need charisma skills to make one.................................................

But in short if you want roleplay sadly borderlands 2 has more role playing element than this....

Before autistic yell comes modding this games making guns and armors. Unlike skyrim they atlest make overhauls and lot more and better mods what can change entire game. But this game bad desing choices sadly cannot be fixed by small mods.

Wasnt he that one who didnt know how to place supresson in mgs series? If its him i dont really follow him at all but i can atlest watch his ♥♥♥♥ as enterteiment compared to this game. I cannot immerse my self at all in this game after magic of hype wore off and started to show rotting side of disk....

There's the downside of a story heavy game.
Once you experience the story the most you can do with is experience the story again and make a few different choices.
However with the clunky combat, and restrictive playstyles (because your Geralt, you fight/act the way Geralt does) it makes a second playthrough a slog.

So, they're left with just talking about the great story (to everyone), and Gwent 'cause a card game is better than the rest of the gameplay.

Eh I'm bored so I'll throw my cap into this thread even though it's probably pointless:

First off I couldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ about reviewers. End of the day no one is right (exception exist of course) about which game is good. Some would enjoy Fallout 4 because they can roleplay in it more than they can in Witcher 3. I only heard DSP is bad but even if he is or not I don't care in the end because we'd probably hit different tastes in video games so what's his opinion to me?

Personally I liked, or hoped to like the former because it looked like fallout 3/new vegas in a fresh paint, which becomes a problem later when it feels like the story and quests are basically just fallout 3 all over again. And the latter because...Well obviously just for the sake of dialouge. Gameplay wise I doubt I'd normally come back unless for achievements, but hey my casual arse enjoyed gwent so whatevs.

Fallout 4, on the other hand, has the flaws of actually feeling like it's wayy too formula based and not of the usual self written, as if basically all they did over the 7-8 years of developement was copypasting missions with brighter textures and added a few mods that they liked that were made. And yet this seems totally okay and not just a lack of imagination.

That being said carfting sure feels nice, but it felt to me like it shoudl've been somehow less streamlined and more focused on the actual craft. I get it, players want to build stuff fast but still, at leat make those furnitures more than being slightly interactive, maybe have the player use filterations or have settlers slowly set up defenses, y'know, instead of dealing with a "freedom" of building in a limited area with a maximum amout slapepd on to it, or make crafting mods more sensible, so instead of just dismantling every object to the proper material you'd actually need the knowledge to scrap that effectively or else you'd need very specific junk pieces to craft the item like in previous games. But no, have it even more dumbed down so it would be easy to get a sniper with silencer and the most damage.

Add in how dialouge is botched, skills are no longer affecting the game, and even the main plot, that should normally be the epic of stories found in the game is ♥♥♥♥ is all enough so that roleplaying is no longer valid, as even the hope of at least seeing abit more of the pre-war was taken away because you had to rush to the damn vault.

Though that being said, I'd probably hit fallout 4 again just because I'm bored really. and because I got bored of borderlands 2 as well, which, at least got me intrigued until the drop off point where I ignored playing it and then the interest stopped. It was still a better story than this game.

Lol sorry couldnt help it. I think its funny how guy is useing some one who does FPS shooter games as a critic for a RPG. And only things ive heard of DSP is negative. Though i have never watched any of his videos that i remember. Just thought was funny how calls him a FPS god and what not... then says guys calls F4 a horrible game.
