that why you sud remember to save you game
You can doublecross institute at Battle of Bunker Hill.

So relax and don't worry about consequences until that time. But you are getting close so make sure you save often so you do have a save that you can later return to in order to play out the other factions.
A lot of people will play out all 3 facton endings for the main story and then pick one of those to continue playing in the post main story game. There is a lot of gameplay after the main story is concluded.
So again, relax and have fun. But I do wish there was some additional dialogue when you join the BOS or start doing quests for the Railroad or Institute that would let you know that this is not an irrevocable choice because I know I was concerned.
You got as far as Synth Retention, so you're okay for now, but I advise against doing any more quests for them if you want to side with the BoS.
If you really want to go with the BoS, just focus on doing their quest lines and you'll eventually be sent to get the Beryllium Agitator.
To be honest about it ... I dislike the BoS and Institute endings.
That goes for every game.
