Where is Paul Pembroke?

Hey there,

I might have screwed that chem deal up a bit by losing my "employer".
I guess it must have happened somewhere outside of Diamond City.


After Cooke told me and Paul about the deal they both headed off.
Instead of following them I made a stop at the wanted poster in Diamond City and when I turned around they were gone, so I just went on my own.
Outside I did not stumble upon them again.
"No problem, they will wait for me somewhere safe", I thought while ambushing the chem deal and extracting information from trish.
I finished some other stuff (ok, it was over 24h of gameplay...) before heading back to Diamond City and his house, where his wife complained about him disappearing.
"Nothing unusual, I still have to clear the chem lab to finish the deal", I thought.

Then Cookes daughter approaches me and I tell her her father is dead.
That really startled me, I did think they were waiting somewhere until I got all the drugs.
So I hurried to finally clear the lab, got lots of stuff, but the quest is marked as finished now.
Yikes!

After some research on google I guess Paul and Cooke should have been somewhere near the chem deal.
The only corpses lying around where those of the triggermen.
Then Dogmeat found something.... namely ALL THE DRUGS in crates in plain sight.
Mistakes were made. Lots of them. I am an idiot.


So, where the heck did Paul go?
He and Cooke are dead for sure, but where are their corpses?
Did they run into super mutants on their way to the deal?
Did they stand around like morons waiting weeks for me to take the chems, and then get killed by super mutants?
Where are they normally standing at the deal? Which path do they take out of Diamond City?

Maybe, just maybe, one of them killde the other while I was distracted, dumped the corpse in the river and left the Commonwealth.

Ok, never mind.
I made a typing error while trying to teleport myself to Paul.
Now I got it, an guess what?
They actually managed to get their asses killed in the middle of the super mutant camp north of Diamond City.
I died as well, because that is what happens when you spawn in the middle of a super mutant camp. ;)

I am leaving this thread here instead of deleting it, so others will be warned to always watch out for NPCs. xD
