Yes I did.
On that note, you could also try to set the quest to a prior stage. Maybe registering the building process again fixes it.
It might be a matter or ordering too. I had the dish and console wired up to running generators before I wired up the emitter.
But if you just can't click space (or whatever button you need to press for wires) on the emitter itself, a mod that influences wires or settlements in general might be interfering.
If all else fails, maybe setting the quest stage ahead so the game thinks everything's wired up will allow you to progress anyway.
Thank you for your help. The issue was with a settlement mod called Fort Hope by Greekrage. I disabled that and could connect the power.
