Can't power molecular beam emitter
I've tried to complete the molecular level quest several times and it's broken for me. I tried to build it with both the Minutemen and the Brotherhood. No matter what I do the molecular beam emitter can't get power. I can't connect wires to it. I even tried a wireless power mod and it still won't power up.

Removing all the rugs at the airport and building it on a foundation in Sanctuary didn't help. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Edit Turns out this was a caused by a settlement mod called Fort Hope by Greekrage.

You did snap the beam emitter and reflector platform together, yes?

I connect the generators to a tall power transformer and then connect the beam emitter pieces to that. You need to connect the unit with the computer console to all that also.

One thing you could try is clicking on your emitter to find out its reference number and then spawn another one with PlaceThere <id goes here> 1

On that note, you could also try to set the quest to a prior stage. Maybe registering the building process again fixes it.

It might be a matter or ordering too. I had the dish and console wired up to running generators before I wired up the emitter.

But if you just can't click space (or whatever button you need to press for wires) on the emitter itself, a mod that influences wires or settlements in general might be interfering.

If all else fails, maybe setting the quest stage ahead so the game thinks everything's wired up will allow you to progress anyway.

Thank you for your help. The issue was with a settlement mod called Fort Hope by Greekrage. I disabled that and could connect the power.
