Feel free to stay in the topic, or jump outside of it. We are relaxed bunch. Don't mind about the super mutant standing in the corner. He is our resident poet. Robot acts as a bouncer.

What is this all about?

Coffee Room threads are general chat and modding threads that we have been making for Bethesda games. We have one for Skryim and one for Skyrim SE. Discussion about FO4 modding and troubleshooting has been going on in them. I decided that it was high time to make a thread in FO4 side.

These forums have been general conversation topics. They are also places, where people struggling with bugs and modding issues can poke around for help.

Usual stuff

1. This is a Steam forum thread and respects Discussions Rules and Guidelines. Everyone responding to this or similar thread has read them and follows them.
   
   
2. Regulars are bigger trolls than you are. No need to test that. I take no responsibility for someone ending up as a midnight snack, after serving him/herself on a silver plate.
   
   
3. If you sign in to a modding site, then read their ToS. Don't just accept it, but actually read it. If you got banned from other Steam forum or modding site, then there is absolutely no point of complaining about that in here. ToS is there for a reason.
   
   
4. We prefer that people make full forum posts about their problems. That way the problem is clearly presented and others searching for solutions to similar problems can find them more easily. If no one catches up with them, then you can ask help here, but let's use your own thread to solve issues from your game. Otherwise relevant questions will be left without answers and responses will be hidden from search engines.
   
   
5. We learn by reading and doing. Not all players have extensive knowledge about FO4 as a game. We do have long experience from Bethesda games and modding tools in general. We also have tendency to poke under the hood and around modding tools, solving issues from mods and the game.
   
   
6. Badgers have dibs for cookies.

Reply #1 will be reserved for links to tools, guides and tutorials. I will update it, when ever something gets done.

After a whole day of carefully disabling mods in my LO, I have finally got the game to load through the 'script explosion' at the end of character creation without planting my face on the desk.

I am left with the unofficial patch. AAF and the mods that depend on it.

Now to start reloading the other 380+ mods to find the one that does not like AAF

@surf sounds like my world when i was trying to get past the sanctuary workshop bug when i was using vortex but right now i ditched that and got MO2 installed and givin some time and patience i can find a way past that if the xEdit thing wasnt plaguing me currently (thats a WIP for now til the brain burning doesnt get me first)

Hello, everyone. This has been a busy summer. I haven't had much time to be with you guys, but I am reading and replying, when I can.

We just dealt with two Ed Sheeran concerts in Malmi Airport, Helsinki. Weather was really hot (and still is). Audience enjoyed itself though and we mostly had only crowd control to work with at event security side.

One day off. I am heading to well deserved sauna tonight.

I haven't had time to play much, but I have been poking around with my FO4 installation again. If nothing happens, then I should have few more days of work this week and whooping three days off next week. Maybe I can get something done.

Other than cleaning the house of course. This place is looking like someone has been running in and out concerts and festivals, leaving behind laundry piles, dishes and coffee cups to every corner of the house. Now who could that be?

welcome back stranger We kept the lights on for you and the coffee pot full. No worries. Don't spend the entire day off cleaning... but you know at least do the coffee cups. One must have priorities LOL

Been awhile gentlemen. Place sure does look clean compared to the hell going on out there. I walk around and people keep dying. It's madness. Also they are slow as molasses.

We've switched to filtered well water by popular demand ... the Stilt Bean coffee doesn't have quite the same kick, but people seem to prefer it. Pfft ... Vault dwellers go figure.

Guys, I'm serious. Aliens have landed. I saw something hauling ass in the sky heading south and tracked it to a crashed ship.

There was a weird broadcast coming from it and a green liquid that lead off into the distance. I pondered if it was blood and decided to follow the trail to a cave. Inside was this green injured bipedal pilot. He drew his gun so I had no choice.

I got this shiney blaster from him as proof. It literally turns things into green goop in a single shot. Sadly only 300 rounds are left, but I think I can jury rig it to use plasma cartridges.

I think I'll need a double, hell make it a triple of your best whiskey. I got plenty of junk to trade with.

a triple whiskey: light weight me (after the long day I've had) make it a ill take a shot of everything mix it in a bucket and mix it with some quantum for color and effectiveness result: alright now we are in the states

At least you were luck and shot the alien before he stun you. I hear they take you up to their mother-ship and and get all freaky. Probes and stuff. ;)

It looks like you may have mods that overwrote the correct interface files, or you forgot to update the DEF-UI translations

and how to fix the interface files? im new mo2 and this is the first time something like this ever popped up (literally)
