White screen after intro...
I just bought Fallout 4 and then I start a new game. After that, I skipped the Intro. then the white screen appears! Can someone help me? Please?
NOTE: I did make the game resolution my PC screen size and I changed some settings to reduce the lag.
Thanks for looking at this..

Intel HD Graphics are not supported for Fallout 4. There are some people who have gotten it to work by following a massive list of tweaks and adjustments, but your best bet is to upgrade to a dedicated GPU (video card).

Is there a way I can download a Dedicated GPU and if so, Would you mind helping me? :P
Mringasa May 30, 2017 @ 9:05am
Well, you can't download one, but you can purchase one (and probably a new power supply to power it) and then open up your computer case and install it...

Okay, friend me and tell me the details. Those help alot
Mringasa May 30, 2017 @ 9:10am
Lol. Oh man. I am a computer n00b. I'd suggest you start looking online with a Google search for "upgrading my GPU" and go from there. I'm sure there's a couple dozen people here who have legitimate computer experience who can help you with finding the right card for your system. I am just a scrub with enough knowledge to be dangerous.
Arjomi May 30, 2017 @ 9:11am
Well, Why isn't it working with Intel, Is it as dangerous as you? XD jk
Arjomi May 30, 2017 @ 9:18am
dang it, I don't want to buy one.. xD
Mringasa May 30, 2017 @ 9:21am
Yeah. Intel HD Graphics weren't supported to start, but you could play the game up til patch 1.4 came out. At that point, I'm guessing some functions or whatever were forced and unsupported graphics just can't handle it. I know I got really bad tearing and screwed up graphics when that happened.

Ended up just picking up a graphics card + power supply and installing them. It was well worth it though since I'm getting excellent performance out of other games, and the price was within my budget. Not sure how cheap things are now, but you can probably get a decent card pretty cheap. Just need to do a little shopping around. Top end is expensive AF, but you'll want to get something that will perform reasonably well for a few years at least.
Arjomi May 30, 2017 @ 9:24am
Is it possible to make it supported again?
Mringasa May 30, 2017 @ 9:26am
Uh, probably not. Wouldn't even know how to begin rolling back to a prior patch since I don't think that's an option in a Steam game. If you really want to try something, get on YouTube and search "Intel HD graphics on Fallout 4". There are videos showing people getting it to work. It's just a hit or miss thing though. Sometimes you can, and sometimes you can't.

One thing to say: INTEL, BETTER SOLVE THIS!
