Rooftop / High up settlements?
I am looking for any where to build that is elevated further than the area around it. I large rooftop or something similar would be amazing. Mods are welcome, prefer mods on bethesda, nexus is fine. Anyone know of anything like it?

Finch Farm and Greygarden, you can build up to the highway overpasses above them, and build there.

Think most other places you hit the height limit, except Spectacle Island, but that's just a huge settlement playground all around.

build Up with stairs and floors, e.g. At abernathy or zimonja. Eventually u will hit the sky and get a 'can't go this way' message.

The only setlements you are really going to run into the ceiling issue is Hangman's Alley, Covenant, and maybe Ten Pines.

Those are the only three outdoor ones I had issues with hitting the ceiling. That is with building structures 3-4 stories high. I never really aimed at going for height to intentionally hit the ceiling.

I think either Abernathy or Outpost Zimonja had the highest ceiling, was around 10-13 stories. One story equaling the height of vanilla walls, not warehouse/barnwalls.

Roof of the Red Rocket near Sanctuary. No mods required. It will accommodate a 3x3 module plaform at least. Stick a concrete foundation block on the ground at the rear of the Red Rocket building, then place a ladder on the ground to climb onto the block then another one on the block to get access to the roof. The block has to be mainly above the ground level surface and the right distance back from the rear wall of the workshop building. Fiddly to get the access set up right but it does work iirc. I've seen elaborate access set ups to allow access to the Red Rocket roof. All that's required is one foundation and two ladders.

Only issue with the Red Rocket roof is that it isn't navmeshed. If you want settlers to walk on it, you have to lay new floors down. Sucks.

ALways forget about Abernathy Farm since I never use it. It has that huge Tower sticking up out of it. Think you can build to the top of it.

Didn't know that so thanks. I seem to recall there is an issue with the ground level navmeshes at Jamaica Plain.
