Archthrones: Easy way to uninstall?

The demo was incredible and I can't wait for the full release, but I also miss invading. Anyone know if there is an easy uninstall method? Couldn't find anything on the Nexus description.

Just move the dinput8.dll to another folder and it'll boot up vanilla.

Or name it something else like dinput82. Afaik DS3 only accepts these filenames for mods:
dxgi.dll
XINPUT1_3.dll
DINPUT8.dll
WINMM.dll

No. That wouldn't work. Steam doesn't delete extra files you added manually. Since you have to install the Archthrones mod yourself, Steam won't touch those files if you uninstall Dark Souls 3. The files will be left behind.

Your best bet is deleting/renaming the stuff mentioned above in #2. If that doesn't work out somehow, you gotta manually delete everything in the game directory and reinstall the game from scratch instead.

Actually, now that I think of it, I wonder if moving the game from one drive to the other through Steam would work? Since Steam won't touch files that weren't downloaded by it, it should only move the files that belong to the game. That's also worth trying, I guess. I'd try it myself, but I didn't bother getting that mod (yet), so I can't.

the best way to do it is renaming dinput8.dll to anything not dinput8. i would not change the filetype since that could corrupt the file changing back. i always name the dinput8 files to what they do, for archthrones its "rename for archthrones dinput8.dll"

I renamed it to: dinput8_REMOVE_THIS_FROM_THE_NAME_FOR_ARCHTHRONES.dll
Original game boots fine.
