Bloodborne PC & Demon's Souls PC?

Since there is no specific section in any tab of the From Software gaming community so far, I decided to create this topic here. It seems that the PC port of Bloodborne will appear on the occasion of the PS5 remaster, which is to be at the time of the console's premiere.
This post is supposed to be a form of a loose, civilized discussion, so if someone wants to write only hates or came to make fun of people or troll, leave this thread.
So it looks like the game is on its way and apparently in July there were stress tests of not only the multiplayer but also the port itself.
Apparently the game is almost finished and will be announced in the near future. Can we expect an announcement at gamescom? What do you think?

For me, there is no souls-like game better than Bloodborne. Mortal Shell looks like souls, but there is no character creator or classic leveling or equipment changing, because from what I know, armor and weapons are assigned to a specific shell.
Nioh is more of a third-person Diablo, and Sekiro, although pretty, it lacks that depth to be souls like. So only Bloodborne and Demons Souls remain to be core souls like but DS was already announced and highly unlikely it will come for PC but who knows?

More of the argument of...the biggest, most complex games are on PC, solely because good gaming PC hardware can handle it. Heck, even half-decent gaming hardware does the job. But of course we have to deal with bugs, patches, networking issues, graphics tweaking, mysterious FPS drops, just tons of stuff. We are used to it, but not everyone like doing it, which I fully understand.

Which is what consoles are supposed to be. No BS, just pop in the game and start playing. The current consoles...well, they aren't that. At least not the PS and XBOX. They are trying to be gaming PCs and running into a lot of serious problems in doing so (including the aforementioned issues, just now you can't do anything to fix them). Its a downward spiral of increasing hardware requirements, so increasing costs, increasing problems, more pissed off audiences, more steps required (install game, big update, a week later even bigger update, game now takes up 100gb on drive)....you see where I am going with this, right?

Its a dying breed because they are trying to be gaming PCs instead of consoles. Not every market has to try and be the same for gods sake.

Well Xbox game up with the neat idea of a game pass which was freaking amazing. Sony saw that and took they're doing the same thing with ps4 games for ps5.

It matters not. If they won't cooporate we will find a way to emulate both Demons Souls and Bloodborne on our PC's . In fact some guys are already working on breking the console only security. I hope they do it. I want see every Playstation game broken and playable on PC.

Without full industry transparency over sales figures of consoles, games, player bases on Steam, etc. it's impossible for us to do any better than guessing in the dark about what motivates the big players in the industry, like Sony, to make the decisions they do.

I shouldn't complain because there're plenty of games to play on PC, but at the end of the day, I would like to play Bloodborne-- just not enough to buy a PS4. I would sooner invest in a decent joy stick and VR set and get down with DCS World or Half Life: Alyx.

And? Maybe I don't care about a plenty of games. Maybe I want to play the specific type of. And I can't because they are not avaiable. Thus my frustration. The only way they will understand is when a whole bunch of peoples stand up a rebel against this. We won't change anything unless we stand up and fight. It is clear to me now. No review bombing no whining in forums. Big community outrage on scale of Battlefront 2 lootboxes controversy.

Erm.... does Death Stranding not ring a bell? Also, is you were a billion dollar company engaged in launching your next gen flagship product, would you choose to distract from the message by mentioning that you were also going to support a rival platform? That would be a bit daft, don't you think? Sony has expressed interest in porting more titles to PC. It's not, for obvious reasons, their top priority messaging.

It is actually a very smart business decision. Exclusives sell consoles. Demons Souls is a hot commodity that will sell PS5 hardware. If it were coming to PC as well then that would knock out a whole bunch of possible console sales. This is where the xbox failed with coming out on PC at the same time. They never got me as a customer because I could just buy the better version on here.

Death Stranding was never meant to be PS4 exclusive! Jeez You'r all people are blind? Kojima from the begining wanted to make this multiplatform. Rival platform. PC? WE are not rivals! Playstation and Xbox might be but no PC. I see no harm in releasing ps games on pc when xbox is doing the same thing and that will take some income from xbox to sony. Yeah they are clearly intrested in porting more to PC. SURE. First they announce it will be avaiable on PC later which seem reasonable and then quickly backwards from this also trying to play fool with us about human error. Error my ass! Dark Souls 3 is the best souls-like because it's on PC. No amount of exclusives can make any console or console game superior.

Demon's souls is a game that is already made. Trying to keep it exclusive to a dying breed of consoles is not a smart decision at all. It only serves to sucker in people thoughtless enough to not see through this crap scheme. And while it may work, I honestly do not support any strategy designed to take advantage of stupidity.

Also, feel free to look at the online statistics for this, the number of PC gamers overall is roughly the same amount as both major consoles combined. No matter how you chalk it, more money would be made by selling on PC alone, or better yet all three major systems.

This is just another one of those "bad press is still press" stunts.

As a corporation, Sony owes a return on investment for its shareholders, a decent rate of remuneration for its employees for honest work, prompt payment to its vendors, and a reasonable standard of service and support for its customers.

What Sony doesn't owe us, unfortunately, is information about its planned product releases, insight into its decision-making processes, or even a product. Unless you have magically pre-ordered and paid for Bloodborne on PC, Sony doesn't owe you anything at all, Bloodborne related.
