I am having issues launching darksouls 3 with mod engine

I have been playing ds3 convergence mod for a few weeks now and starting today my game began crashing on launch, even before a window visually appears. Ive narrowed it down to the "dinput8.dll" app extension but i have tried everything to fix the problem yet nothing is working. Can anyone help?

Did you ask the developer of the mod itself or on the forum page for dark souls 3? Asking the mod author will help you fix it faster. Go to the website you got it at and asking the modder themself may help you more.
