Is there limited enemy spawns?
I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

what exactly do you mean? most enemies respawn every time you go to a bonfire, exceptions are mostly boss mobs.

Probably means like Dark Souls II where enemies would stop spawning after you cleared an area and rested at a bonfire after so many resets. The only way, as far as I know, to get enemies to spawn again was to use a bonfire ascetic.

Few of them are 1 time miniboss and won't respawn. Everything else respawn when you rest.

Probably..i think it was 10 in DS2. The enemies will only respawn 10 times. which means there is not infinate souls available. You cannot farm souls.

Well that is good actually because i have been dying a lot. In DS2 . They stopped respawing after 10 spawns. Makes the place where the dragon is a good place to farm souls.

^i agree. im pretty sure i killed some more than 10 times and they kept respawning.
Seems like enemies also respawn if you don't even go to a bonefire.

I was backtracking in Lothric, went back after finding a key to open a door and the enemies were there again without me ever touching a bonefire.

Anyone else?

I farmed a knight for its armor A LOT and i still see him around

in the other side, a lesser enemy stopped spawning BUT after i died he was there again...
so i guess their respawn counter resets a little if you die once or a certain amount of times??

NEEDS MORE TESTING.

FOR SCIENCE, I just killed the same Undead Cleric 85 times. I had a loftier goal, but I just can't bring myself to kill that same Undead Cleric 1,000 times. Apologies. :estusempty:

After 85 kills, he's dropped 11 Fading Souls and 1 Cleric's Sacred Chime.
i was playing as the starting cleric class. went through the very very beginning (like the first 5 enemies) 3 times and got a total of 4 souls and 2 extra chimes lol. that 13 starting luck putting work apparently.

In DS2, you could kill enemies up to 15 times, I think. In DS3, enemies will respawn indefinitely (except for bosses and some one-time-spawns that disappear for good after you killed them once).
