NVIDIA FRAMERATE ISSUE FIX (NVidia Control Panel)
..for me anyways

User /u/Enthusiastic Muffin on Reddit posted this fix.

* Go to nvidia control panel and add the DarkSouls3.exe
* Set to adaptive vsync and turn on triple buffering
* Set maximum prerendered frames to 1
* Turn on threaded optimization

I went from "strugling fps" on 1080p with Med settings to 50-60 FPS on 1440p on High settings

My setup:
3570k i5, GTX 970, 2560 x 1440, Win 10, Running DS3 off of HDD

Ok just tried it. Didnt make that much of a difference... except noticing the screen tearing when the adaptive vsync kicks in.

Not unless we keep bumping it

I havent seen it yet, and it's the only thing that has actually worked so I am excited to share it.

Just set it to Vsync instead.

Yeah I'll set it back. I was just trying all the settings he mentioned to see if it was some "magic" combination lol I actually forgot the "threaded optimisation" option when I first tried it as well.

guess my gtx 580 need to be changed :(

wich is the best one to get next ? MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G ?
Setting the framerate limiter to 60 for the game's exe in RTSS also seems to help with the microstuttering for me. Made a thread about it but it got buried in the ocean of crash complaining threads lol!!
