Ur welcome.
Thanks I'll have a look.
How about being able to pause when out of combat?
Plenty of gamers are parents though and may need to pause in combat to attend to kids [that are about to unplug the PC because you've been playing souls for too long].
The no pausing thing forces you to be prepared for anything the game throws at you. It would defeat the purpose of the game being punishing (The series uses death to more or less teach you . Trial and Error and all that.) if you could just pause the game in the middle of a boss fight in order to equip better equipment. Dark souls really isnt a hard game, it just really likes to slap you around if you ♥♥♥♥ up as a way of teaching you not to be a pleb.
I mean, you could always attend to your kids first like a resposible adult and then play games or you know, dont play souls when you're in that kind of situation. There are other games to enjoy.
The penalty for death isnt really all that bad, lost souls are pretty easy to reclaim. Just run in, tag the bloodstain and run away crying or just farm. You can farm embers through Coop.
Thats called being in a safe place. Souls doesnt need a pause.
