We'll have it fixed by 2018 on Scholar of the First Flame.
you keep repeating the same buzzwords.
Also, how in hell is messing with the clock emulating the IPC? Are you defective?
And yes, intel (since core duo iirc) has higher ipc, it doesn't take your questionable test to know it.
Now, ps4 has framerate issues, but not the (seeemingly) random microstuttering I have on PC.
Ps4 is running on a 1.7ghz amd tablet cpu and 5200rpm hdd.
I'd give it to my pc if I weren't running an i7 and ssd.
Yes, people with skylake cpus have that too, unless you'll act like they're lying, look at the reddit megathread: a vast range of configurations (if not almost all), have that problem.
Lastly, look at some youtube tests with the fx8350, it's giving basically the same performance as i5s in Ds3 (goes into the "doesn't matter" category you talked about earlier). I also remember you, (in case you want to nitpick 1-2 fps in more demanding areas) the bench charts you find online only show up to judex ghundir and don't go past that.
Why the hell are you here if it's running so well for you? Go and play the game
I got an i5 4460 and a GTX970 and I got the same problems while others with the same hardware dont have them. Shut up already. The game is badly optimized, its not the fault of the hardware. I know people with a 950 who can run the game better than me like wtf
seems like ver. 1.01 had no stuttering, it was introduced with patch 1.03 and worsened with 1.03.1
Did the comparison on some streamers who were running it fine before release (1.03) and now have your same reported issue
They fixed bonfire crash for some, improved the swamp area, but introduced new bugs
Yeah it seems so. But still no word from Bamco or fromsoftware in that regard. Great support
Well I finally got a stable 60 fps. just thought i'd report what i think fixed my fps. there are still frame drops all over and it's still buggy... but i can play it, and im pretty picky.
I went after fixing low hardware usage as i figured that was the problem. gpu and cpu usage were way too low.
So beta nvidia driver 364.96
Disabled Cool n quiet in bios, and 'turbo mode' to ON instead of AUTO to force more usage.
EVGA precision X 16 -> replacing afterburner as my OC control for its KBOOST function which they say 'forces maximum usage reguardless of gpu load"
Disabled SLI in NV control panel. Dispite nvidia driver notes, i never saw more than 25-30% gpu usage so.... i don't know. I think it was kboost that fixed me but im not sure. hope this helps someone :)
NVidia GTX 980M 4GB DDR5
Intel i7-4720HQ
8GM RAM
OS:
Windows 10 64 Bit - Always updated
VGA Driver:
361.75
No crashes, no frame rate issue (well there is but it's just a very slight drop and quickly recovered again at some area)
Been using 361.75 Driver since the release of the game, while everyone is having a lot of issue, i never had any issue at any setting at all. Seems like this is the best driver for playing DS3 with Nvidia.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
nvidia 560ti, on drivers 314.22
8gb RAM, game installed on SSD
win7 x64
720p, all low
In Firelink Shrine, I can reach a max of ~45fps if i'm looking at floor/sky, 30fps looking anywhere else not moving, but game chugs to about 14-20 (or lower) when moving and turning camera in certain areas
funny enough, in my random boredom testing i found that disabling my ethernet adapter in device manager nets me an average of +3.1 fps
I benchmarked both standing still and circling the main shrine area
this is in offline mode btw, with every possible background program/service also disabled, virtual memory set to 10+GB, steam overlay dll file disabled, max performance, cores unparked, cool n quiet disabled, etc etc.
cpu usage never goes above 50-60%, gpu usage never hits above 60%
(under minimum reqs yes, but I'm under minimum for DOOM 4 beta and I ran that just fine)
they just announced another patch today, no idea when it comes out and it doesn't look like its going to fix anything
