Lyrics of the soundtrack (choir)?
Anyone got the choir lyrics for the songs that have them? Opera music does have some sort of lyrics so it's not just random notes being sung (in case someone didn't know) .

Where can I find what the choir is actually singing in tracks like Armor, Deacons and main theme? It's probably in Italian or French (maybe Latin?), but I wanna know what it is.

Especially Iduex Gundyr; might have lyrics in Latin.

You've never noticed it because there are no lyrics, just as in duel of fates, the voices are not singing "corn on the cob" it's simply your brain trying to create a meaning in something where there isn't.

You're a monkey for calling Latin Italian. It's also not Latin you clown, I do know Latin, and that's not Latin. No matter how much you deny it, there are no lyrics to this music, just as Starwars Duel of Fates does not say: "Corn on the Cob."

In human psychology the brain creates patterns if there are none to be found simply because that is how we evolved to think. It takes intelligence to get out of that mindset, and you evidently don't possess it.

If there are no lyrics then how can you say that it is one or the other? If there are lyrics, a native Italian speaker or even a Romanian, would have a better ear for the lyrics.
Latin is a dead language unless you speak a native language close to Latin then why should I believe you just because you say there are no lyrics?

What we DO know is that Yuka Kitamura has used lyrics in songs before more specifically Bloodbornes Cleric Beast fight.. It's not officially posted on any Fromsoft website she is just listed as the Composer in the credits. The lyrics are, however, found on Reddit pieced together by the community.

"Priva da vita. Che nel buio val." burn in lifeless. In the Darkess you go. IF these are the lyrics then, that is beautifully dark and relevent to the Dark Souls game. We know that fromsoft is not going to be forthcoming with this.

BTW I think the word you are looking for is auditory pareidolia. Yes there are random ooooohhh ahhhhh that translate to nothing but, you cant just go stomping around the forums telling everyone they are halucinating when you have no qualifications other than claiming to know latin? Im certain that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ :/

ANYWAYS

It is safe to asume that if it were auditory pareidolia as you claim then wouldn't the words be jumbled and make no sense? (corn on the cob?) How is it that we are able to form coherent relevent sentences in latin? Just a coincidence? I think ♥♥♥♥ off :/

You are just throwing around nonsense, Latin is still taught in schools in some countries in Europe. Secondly, Italian is not used for this type of music, Italian was often used in romatic songs while Latin in dramatic, with some exceptions. By no means could and would a Japanese composer go out of their way to ♥♥♥♥ on the style of music to put a completely foriegn language into their tracks. If there would be any lyrics what so ever, then it would be Latin, which was used in it. The fact that you are even calling Latin Italian showes how little you have any idea about music style and languages in general.

And sure, the fans can make up their own lyrics, perhaps a choir can record actual singing into the music to improve on it, but in reality, there are no lyrics. No matter how much you desire it to be true.

What in the actual hell guys? This thread is from a year ago and some change.
Is this what it feels to look at redditor arguments?

I'm not sure that latin has "di" as an actual word. if the sentence is "priva di vita" then it's italian, not latin.

and no matter what, nobody can know who is right until someone that actually knows says which is the truth. and good luck with having fromsoft reply to you.

This is incorrect, you are the one that is absolutely brainless because you have previously said "Do you speak fluent Italian? No" Implying that the song is in a language I can not speak, in this case, Italian. You are not just dumb, but brainless, as a dumb person at least has memory to recall from.

Did Fromsoft release some soundtrack? Would be nice to listen to while coding I guess.
Chaos Whisperer Sep 18, 2017 @ 5:14pm
No, if I were to say "Do you speak fluent latin?" that would be dumb. Latin is a dead language. What I was implying is that if you speak italian you would have a good ear for latin and could actually be helpful to this conversation. unlike you You should leave you're just embarrasing yourself

On another note. Yes, there is a soundtrack for this game. It came with the game at release if you bought a physical copy of it. I have it in my car and it is amazing. You can always just download it now but if you want a physical copy get ready to fork up $$$.

Dragonslayer Armour Fight track #13 sounds like there actually might be some lyrical content. Not to mention it is a badass song to code to.

I can clearly understand :
"Brucia, Pira Priva di Vita
Che tu vai sola..."
(Burn, lifeless flame
That you go alone...)
The other words are overlapped by the choirs repeating "Priva di Vita"
The next sentence start again with
"Che tu..." but Cello cover the words.
There are a strong male choirs too.
I have to analyze the two stereo channels singularly.
Who really knows DARK SOULS knows for sure that nothing is left to chance.
