How do i know if im softbanned?

Hi, just started ng+. Yesterday i was playing pvp like a champ on the High Wall bonfire. But today, out of the blue, there are no more summon signs. If i put my sign, i dont get summoned and if i invade it just stays at " searching world to invade ". Is there a way of knowing if im banned/soft banned?

I have not used any mod/cheat of course.

Anyway, if you have been softbanned it will tell you when you start the game. Otherwise, try using White Circlet ingame.

Try using white circlet, if it doesn't allow you to, you're fine. If it does, you done messed up Simon.

Well after 2 days it fixed itself. In case anyone else is having this problem, just wait.

If you have gone by SL 130 you wont see many signs because people decided thats the stupid meta to stay at

What is nice thing about softban (from what I read about it) is that you should actually get 2 warnings. First one is that something is not alright with your files and they gonna investigate it. And if they find something then it will tell you are softbaned, not in these exact words ofc but it will let you know. If you only see info about upcoming patch and no other message you should be fine.

Change your game to english, if you got banned the message won't show up unless the game is in english.

Yes, you need to delete your save file and then create a new character, wait around two to four weeks for them to review your account and hopefully remove the ban.

thank you mate! I deleted my safe files and created a new char. I write if the ban is lifted.

Those sources contradict each other for players who have already been penalized.

It's been long known that you can escape a ban by deleting your saves during the warning period. The ingame startup message tells you as much.

But as the second, official link clearly states once restrictions are placed on an account they are permanent and will not be further looked into until the player contacts support. And even then it is highly unlikely the server team will agree to lift the ban.

The only instances I can see them oblige to an unban request would be if they only detected edited weapons in your inventory or an abnormal soul increase, as these can or could be inflicted to you by other players.

But you probably need to provide a good reason why you didn't follow the instructions of the initial warning message, like if it didn't show or you didn't see it for whatever reason. Also not having been manually reported by other players too much (above average) probably helps here.

so yo mean I should write the support? I actually only got myself armor, weapons and souls with cheat engine. Also I didnt see any warning until I changed language to english 2 weeks after I could not play online anymore. Oh and i got around a week befor the ban multiply times in a world with hackers. So with this argumentation I could get unbanned?
