I do NOT know if the information i just gave you is right or not. But weapons dont play a big of a role as you think they do, It is your stats that truly make a weapon good.
This goes for any weapon that are leveld up with twinkeling and Titanite Scales.
All else should work.
Pretty much any "Special" weapon you cant buff with resin or spells.
Almost all of the weapons that upgrade with regular titanite can be buffed.
Is that right Ser Avaion???
If that's the case, isn't a non elemental infused weapon +weapon buff better than elemental infused that you can't buff?
raw infusions are good at low level when you want that quick +100 damage on ultra great sword or something alike.
infusions on the other hand add respective scaling. Divine adds faith scaling, magic adds intelligence scaling etc. That type of sword will benefit at ~60 faith tremendously, but before that, in most cases, it is better idea to go for if your a soldier/melee for heavy/sharp/refined and add weapon buffs with magic yourself, or use numerous items that add similar effect to the weapon. those items will be sold in indefinite quantities later in the game.
latter is better if you dont want to invest additional points into pyro/sorc/faith to buff your weapon.
although darkmoon blade is op compared to those items.
