I hope people are still playing...
The worst part about 3 is that, even if it were balanced, the only way to get a decent fight is in fight clubs... and I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stand fight clubs. :/
In 3, they're alright if you make them Lacerating. Most straight sword/rapier users forget that there are faster things than them, and will just eat blood loss after blood loss trying to R1 through you.
But no, they're not good if they're not stupid.
In 2, they're amazing, if you're using the correct combination of daggers.
We can all sleep soundly finally.
I can hardly wait, only another 3 years, for the dark souls 3 fix thread from OP.
DLC. If the game is broken it turns users away from reinvesting into new dlc for the game. Thus there are financial incentives for publishers to pay money to have developers fix games and balance games via patches. While dlc piece sales games to us over time, it has (underratedly) increased the likelyness of balance and bug fixes past a weeks of release for most games.
