Is it justified to go after a +10 caestus before abyss watchers
I mean its completely normal to throw off the entire progression course and have 40 in an attack stat with a +10 weapon before the first lord of cinder right

is not necessary, i find out u can buff weapons in my second run, so is justified if u can't git gud with basics, nothing wrong with buffs, but not necessary

dose it really count as before abyss watchers when youve killed at least dancer to open up lothric castle to get the mats for the +10?

Not sure where you would find a titanite slab before killing the abyss watchers. Its needed for a +10 status.

My best was with lvl 40 and +3 weapon on my second char . . .n ot really needed (and dont even know how to upgrade past +4 or +5 weapon before Abyss Watchers).

Yeah, the abyss watchers aren't exactly know for tanking damage. They actually go down rather easily if you can get a hit in. Dodging is the key.

You can stunlock them with the ceastus and poise through there attacks with the weapon art

you can also parry and backstab them on most of their attacks, so they're kind of a joke.

& 4 from Ring City DLC

I literally just had to check as well... forgot you could get slabs from dlc.

Or simply:
1. Kill Dancer early
2. Kill Oceiros
3. Kill Pushover Gundyr
4. Grab the Coiled Sword Fragment from Untended Graves
5. Give it for the crows to get a Slab in return

minimum for +10 is vordt and sage
