Smough's Armor

so....why did smough customize his armor to look like a fat ugly guy? due to the shape and size of the armor, it can be assumed that its custom made specifically for him. either he customized it or he hired a blacksmith to make it.


why would you want custom armor that makes you look like a fatass?

he was a notorious boss in dark souls 1. part of the boss duo smough & ornstein. if ornstein died first he would transform into super smough aka ssj4 ultra-instinct smough

also that armor has ridiculously high defense stats, despite its extreme heaviness

Smough the executioner was a cannibal and a glutton, he ate the people he killed for Gwen and grew quite fat, the armor wasn’t specially forged to make him look fat, it was forged to fit his fat body

Its also possible that the armor may change with the user. I mean why not? People turn into hideously grotesque giant black serpent things in this game (that will then proceed to slap your sh##). Whose to say armor can't become corrupted with the wearer?

That, and I really can't see why anyone would purposefully craft man-b00bs into an armor set.

no but see, you can craft and modify armor to look different. yeah, the armor cant change the fact that he's fat but he atleast could've added muscles to it. he also didnt have to make his helmet look like that...

That just made me wonder. Smough is a cannibal right? So if you kill Ornstein first, you see smough "smash" him with the hammer...but nothing in Dark Souls is ever so straightforward so...and when he does so he 'consumes' Ornstein's soul to empower himself.

Kind of makes me wonder what the difference is between the player and him.
