The longest you spend on a single boss.

I needed 22.5 hours to kill soul of cinder with a SL1 character at regular NG and he claimed the spot of the boss who took me the longest to beat.

Nothing to brag about since this was done a million billion times and with much more difficult restrictions on top of that. And i am still garbage at videogames.

I just wanted to know.....what was the longest you spend on a single boss?

This includes all five soulsborne games.

1 minute on Father Gascoigne in Bloodborne.

When I was playing Bloodborne again showing it to my gf for the first time we had hit a roadblock at Ludwig. Took around 4/5 hours spread over 2 days.

WELL over 100 hours for Soul of Cinder on my SL1 no roll/block/parry run, across 3 months with lots of breaks for other games or bosses. Demon Prince took me close to 80 hours on that run.seriously

Lady Maria also took me a good long while for BL4 no roll/quickstep/parry/chalice gems.

gg OP. What weapon(s) did you use, and what was your preferred damage dealing mode (for SoC) in 1st phase, and which mode did you hate the most?

Probably 3 or 4 hours on the dancer. Dodging her attacks wouldn't work due to rollcatching and extremely quick followups. Had to resort to the not-fun strategy of sprinting up to her, booping her in the face once, the running away repeatedly.

Midir only because I was coping with a friend on NG+4 with 3 other friends.
We were determined to take down a raid boss this way.
Lasers would one shot unless we had 44 vigor AND a dark bug pellet on top of the dark stone plate ring.
You dodged, died, or got close to it.
We spent a good 2 to 3 hours on it determined to do a no death squad run.

25 deaths on Friede. I guess in hours that was 2-3 hours. Not just fight time, is much less, but thinking what the hell ... what is this, is this a joke and so on

weeks on ornstein and smough playin evry day years ago ... now enjoying every minute of any souls game. that experience made ds3 much easier .. gotta do the dance with evry boss
