Why does one wear shoes typically? To keep your feet from getting dirty, or to reduce discomfort on uneven ground. Friede on the other hand came to this cold world of her own volition. Friede does not want to alienate herself from this world. She does not put herself on a pedestal and demand worship, she cares for these people. Even you, a stranger in this world, she does not push away. She does not view herself as above anyone, and does not see this world as having any filth or discomfort. It is her home. No she f-ing doesn't care, Jesus Christ what did you smoke? The original inhabitants of Ariandel and Ariandel itself are literally rotting away. Also, guess who sent the Corvian Knights to murder the people of the settlement?
