Asmongold facetanking the game
Wow.
I did not expect it.
Asmongold stayed in front of Sulyvahn, taking the hits and spamming attacks. I admit it, I'm mad.
I didn't thought you could beat Dark Souls that way. Well done Asmongold.
I just hope he won't be able to defeat the King of the Storm like that. I'm sure he'll be able to beat him and probably say he was easy, but damn I hope he won't facetank him.

What are your thoughts?

It's funny how this guy is so much in the spotlight out of nowhere. Like at first youtube just recommends me an "asmongold reacts to dark souls 1 speedrun" video. Then that dude is like everywhere and figher.pl collabs (whom I haven't watched since literal years, had none of his vids in my recommended list either for a long time).
I actually remember something about WoW and that dude but I was never really part of that community. Seems to be a big guy in there, but not sure where all that Souls stuff is coming from. And why.

After 40 attempts(and many more off stream) on the Nameless King, Asmongold finally learned to roll.
Is it going to be enough against Midir and Gael? :p

His run is reminding me of the "Can Twitch chat beat DS1?" run. With even uglier gameplay. And it's just one person playing...

My guess is he was experimenting how far he could get fatrolling. Being new to DS, he though it might be possible to beat it that way and he made it pretty far, further than I thought he would.

People get mad at the role he plays lol and its funny. His playthru was actually really entertaining, with people telling him he wouldnt get past this or that boss and he acting like a douche every time he beat a boss people told him he would not.

In the end he had to give up fat rolling to beat the game, the cockyness while fighting against nameless king was really funny, I cracked up watching to that fight.

like 75% sure that asmongold's dodge button is broken but he refuses to get a new controller
