It means nothing. Its so randomly used that you can forget about it.
An example;
A host summons me to kill an Invader.. i killed that Dark Spirit in few Seconds... Host uses Crystal to send me away and Points down on me.
So randomly used.
Seems like you already know
Git Gud Casul.
smh
Look at true invader up there. He's acting like an edgy 14 year old, jerking himself off because he beat someone at a video game. I bet he points down after every fight he wins.
The irony here is that its so overused that it has lost all meaning. When I see someone point down it conjures images of "hard core" white kids with katanas they bought on ebay, edging out some shallow feeling of accomplishment and power before they have to go back to school and get bullied.
The game is still hard, though. It's fashionable to say that DS isn't 'hard', you just need to learn the pattern. Well, your first time through you're still going to die a lot, and you'll need to put a lot of effort in in order to learn how to get through. In any other game, that would be called 'hard'. Dark Souls strives to be FAIR, and CONSISTENT, but just because you've learned the Dancer's moveset and can kill her at SL 1 now doesn't erase the 30 deaths you suffered your first time through trying to kill her. Taking her down that first time was still 'hard.'
