how does one beat the dancer of boreal valley?
I have tried for hours, I have had 2 summons about 6 times and the summons have always died before we got beyond 70% hp. I have never even been close to beating her. I do about ,5% of here hp in a atack and she one hits me.

Yes yes I know Git Gud. But do you have any other tips on how to beat her?

Edit: A player called Sparhawk 51 added me and helped me beat the boss, feel free to comment but I dont need help anymore.

If you ever summon for dancer, it's really not good to have more than 1. It'll boost her health way up and make it take far longer to kill the second someone dies. Also, try bleed or dark damage.

She's weak to dark damage. Dark infused weapons and dark magic spells will do a lot of damage to her.

This is true for any boss, not just Dancer. Unless you're confident in your phantoms, you only want one phantom helping out.

I have a axe with dark damage but her bar barely moves when I hit her (it does abt 87) I tried with one summon once but he died at the first swing ^^

A lot of phantoms will be new to the game too.

I havent leveled up yet, no the axe isnt upgraded. This is the first boss I encountered (other than the tutorial one) So I assumed I wouldnt need to wait until im a high level and sht

I mean her specificaly since he has large AoE attacks and deals great damage, so she can quickly kill summons. So I think fight her is much worse with multiple summons compared to most other bosses, even if they have the same % health boost. Only one that's worse is Midir, at least from the top of my head.

the dancer is a late game boss that you can encounter early, i can help you kill her if you want

That explains so much. She's not meant to be fought at that point, she's closer to mid/late game. Try the boss opposite where you fight her and carry on from there. You'll have a much easier time.

Is in the first area, but you have to kill an NPC to get to her. That should tell you something. Also the amount of damage you're doing and receiving should tell you is not the right time to fight her. And word to the wise, don't depend on phantoms to help you get low level kills on high level bosses. Later on you'll regret the lack of practice and/or have to depend that much more on phantoms.

FYI the game will never force you to kill an NPC to progress.

I made a guide on how to beat her at SL1, but the tips also work on normal runs:
