Sirris summon sign not showing up by Abyss Watchers

I've done everything right to get the sign, I even talked to her at Firelink and she said something about cordial intrusions paving the way for things... pretty much said if I need her just call. Only covenants I've joined are the Watchdogs of Farron and Blue Sentinels. I know where the sign is supposed to be, but it's not showing up... is this a glitch or am I forgetting something?

You can only have one NPC phantom for the watchers, so if you have pale shade or gotthard summoned, you won’t be able to see Sirris’ sign

I don't have either of them summoned. Starting to feel like it's a bug, I've done all the necessary steps to get her sign to pop up

I've had that happen to me twice. I believe the problem is a partial glitch. After you talk to her the second time hence the dialogue: "Cordial intrusion paves the way to embers" you need to leave, then return and make sure she is gone. After doing so her sign should be available.

I might be wrong, but the times she didn't appear despite me following the steps was when I went straight to the boss area after talking to her. I believe the game needs to be told that she is no longer in the shrine before it allows her sign to be visible. Hence why you have to leave and load back in after talking to her.

That's weird. Well I realized that my Hollowing rating was sorta high so I bought a purging stone and cleared it, Ember'd myself and found her sign by the fog finally. I guess I couldn't see the sign like normal because of my character's status... also beat the Abyss dudes on the first try after summoning Sirris :) just a few minutes ago

I doubt Hollowing was the cause. I assume to buy the stone you had to return to the firelink thereby causing the game to register that she was indeed gone. I might be wrong though.

Were you not embered when you were looking for her before purge stone?

had that happen to me, its basicly a minor glitch, you just gotta talk to her and reset firelink shrine so the game assumes her as gone and therefore summonable, if you just talk to her and go to the spot her sign is it wont show up cuz the game thinks she still sitting at the shrine.

Probably better off summoning Gothard anyway. Sirris isn't exactly the best supporter.

Sirris did a pretty good job in the fight tbh
