Straight sword for quality ?
Darksword has damage as same as longsword
and it has got a bad moveset
I have those:
broadsword
Longsword
Lothric knight sword
WHICH has the best moveset and a decent damage ?

They all have the same r1 and weapon art. Do you even gonna use heavy attacks?

stomp is actually pretty good; but for different purpose than stance that most straights have.

also correct me if im wrong but lothric does more if sharped and dark heavied. if going for quality, normal longsword.

personally don't prefer broadsword. maybe pve...? but in pvp thrusting attacks is more useful to me which broadsword lacks.

sometimes for tactics, I do
R2 in broadsword is ♥♥♥♥
so its the longsword and the lothric knight sword

is the 10 more critical makes any diffrence ? "lothric knight S has only 10 more"

it makes a quite huge difference if you can parry or backstab

This, a difference of 10+ crit isn't the same as a difference of 10+ physical damage.

Lothric knight sword is great in my opinion. It is longer than longsword. Its critical is high. Moveset is different and great. It is very similar to Balder Side Sword from DS1. That alone make it worth checking. It has 18 dex 11 str requirements though. 18 dex is a bit high for low level quality builds. Apart from that it is great.

In PvE almost every R2 is great (in certain situations). But Lothric SS heavy attack is great in PvP too. Just equip Leo ring and try it yourself. I only use rolling R1 and heavy attacks with that thing and always win.

Damage numbers for a FAI build and Sunlight Sword are ridiculous atm, but I guess this is going to be patched soon.
For physical builds I would go for a Lothric Sword or Longsword.

If you are doing a warrior quality build would recommend Lothric Knight Shield too. Farmable from same knights. It needs 18 str. 2 levels for warrior. Best medium shield. 18/18 str/dex and infuse raw. Then dump to health and stamina. Very effective until end game levels.

That would be the silver knight shield. Which has parry, higher stats, higher stability, lower str requirement, than the lothric knight shield, but wieghs a bit more.

While the Golden Wing Crest Shield has a bit lower stability than the lothric shield (a differnse of 9 points)

The lothric Knight shield is great for anti lighting, its just not the best medium shield.
