Too many useless keys
Devs, please consider removing keys from our bags after their intended chest or door have been unlocked. I have enough items cluttering everything up already! And I know the current workaround is to put the damn keys in a bag, but it is so tedious to do this every time and doesn't add anything to the gameplay experience.

Used keys and books should be off the inventory list. I've a bag full of used keys and read books.

At the very least, books you've already read should be marked as such.

agree , especially books , at least put a mark on them as they read.
I would like this as well, even though you can sell them for 1 gold each its rather redundant since there is no quick way to sell to vendors.

Just curious.. why continue to hold onto keys (or books) once they've served their purpose? Just sell them. Or, if you're a hoarder, move them out of your inventory and into a storage container. Either probably takes less time than commenting in this thread.

And read books should have a little "read" under them so I know I already know what's in this edition of Fun With Fluids.

Right now a lot of recipe books seem to not copy the recipes into your list so removing books after you read them could cause you to not have a lot of recipes. The copying issue needs fixed before they start removing books automatically. Also, does using a key to make a lockpick consume the key?
Didn't know some o f the recipes were not going into ur list from the books, I has assumed they were recipes I already had. Guess ima have to buy back all the recipe books I sold then XD

Ultima had a key ring...

Keys never used to be in the inventory like they currently are, I am sure it's a side effect of the new crafting system (in the base version of the game it was tougher to combine keys and soap due to them only appearing on the key page).

I would rather keys could no longer craft lockpicks if it meant they were also back in their own tab only.

Just hide keys in bags. You will still be able to use them but they would be "invisible" in your inventory. Read book can be sent to the Homestead chest (you will have this option after discovering your private chambers).
