Video keep flashing I don't know why, does anyone have the same problem?

I can't but see all the references to Ayn Rand and her philosophy Objectivism. It's pretty heavy-handed and I'm wondering if the devs just used it as inspiration for "the big bad guys" or if they really misunderstand all of it to this degree.

I would really like to play Contradiction on my Mac laptop, but every time I boot it up it crashes after about a minute or two, I have tried multiple things but it keeps happening. I see this is a request on the Contradiction forums with no solution as of yet.
