Whimsy Bake & Craft is an idle game that doesn't respect your time.
-Other than 1 employee, there is no offline progress. However, your food expires after 3 real-world days so you're punished for not playing the game.
-The entire game revolves around RNG. You can use higher-quality materials to increase your odds of harvesting rarer ingredients, but the base chance is hidden, so this "boost" isn't helpful.
-It can take hours to get some of these rare ingredients, and to make things more of a pain, your bakers can fail their recipes, resulting in worthless waste products.

This is an idle game that you need to have running in the background for actual progress to be made, and you have to constantly babysit it to make sure you do not run out of materials for planting and fishing.
