This is the official Changelog Thread for CrossCode.

  • You can enter the Grabby Cave again
  • Fixes issue where you could't get credits anymore
  • Tucos pathfinding issue fixed (hopefully)

  • Lot of loading optimizations for certain maps, loading time should be greatly reduced and less likely to crash
  • Text updates for all localizations, fixing several small text issues
  • You now have 99 stamps per area
  • Lots of smaller bugfixes

HOTFIX: 1.0.0-8 and 1.0.0-9

  • Added an option to keep the game running when the window is out of focus
  • Trophy Tracking! You can see status bars for your trophies.
  • Warnings to notify you about potential performance problems right at the title screen.

HOTFIX: 1.0.0-10

  • Fixed favorite items getting mumbled up. Now not mumbled anymore.
  • Skins now also come with a custom Lea image in the menu!
  • Added small trophy icon denoting every trophy that will become a steam achievement (soon)
  • Skins will now disappear during cutscenes, but also with a nice transition effect.

Also note: we made a mistake with Hotfix 1.0.0-9 in that the default branch on Windows used the new NW.js version (the same that is used in the nwjs_new branch). This has been fixed now so the default branch will use the old version again.

If the game ran better for you with version 1.0.0-9 compared to 1.0.0-10, consider switching to the nwjs_new branch.

UPDATE: 1.0.1

Fixes:
  • Removed problematic FORCE_COMBAT in the Bergen goat caves on repeated visits.

Changes:
  • + New Assist Mode added, allowing you to tweak the difficulty for puzzles and combat.
  • + Joern now has elemental melee attacks! Yes, he only used Neutral attacks before. Did anybody notice?
  • + A new hidden guest role in Rookie Harbor! There might be more in the future!
  • ~ Screen shake option is now applied on all screen shake effects.
  • ~ Strongly increased the duration of most food buffs.
  • ~ Food-related SP/Overheat-buffs got stronger.
  • ~ Removed distracting camera movement during the brewing process in Ba'ki Kum.
  • ~ Elemental barriers in final dungeon now kill you instead of making you stuck. That's better, right?
  • ~ Less annoying camera movement for some of the elemental turret boss fights of the final dungeon.

UPDATE: 1.0.2

Fixes:
  • Fixed bug where names of unvisited rooms have been visible in the map menu.
  • Fixed annoying collision issues in the bamboo maze challenge.
  • Fixed bugs where projectiles were stuck in mid-air.
  • Fixed issues where you could pull enemies with certain attacks that were suppose to be immovable.
  • Analyzable symbols that are supposed to stick at the edge of screen are now more easily visible.

Changes:
  • + Steam Achievement support! Your achievements should automatically synchronize with your trophies.
  • + The Last Minute Heroes HG has opened! Well... somewhat. Expect more content in future releases!
  • + Added time stat tracking the use of Assist Mode, so you can show your stats screen to proof you played the game without Assist Mode.
  • + You can now also reset all your circuits at once... at a discount!
  • + A new little cameo from a fellow Indie Game can be found in Bergen village!
  • ~ Slightly changed assist mode damage scaling to only go down to 20%.
  • ~ Updated Backer Credits list!
  • ~ A few tweaks for the So'najiz temple boss to make some puzzle mechanics easier to understand.
  • ~ Assist mode puzzle speed now scales the time you have to catch that bug in the bamboo maze.
  • ~ Minor changes to some equipment, mainly the Gloves.
  • ~ Riposte Modifier not works as intended. You now only have to hold down the guard button to Perfect Guard attacks with multiple attacks.
