WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.02

So I was wondering about the Visual Novel system for WEE
There are some minor differences for Ep02 (compared to Ep01) which makes it better
(Note, I am only discussing about the VN aspects, no complaints about the story so far)
- I can now use the mouse wheel to scroll through unread text instead of only clicking
- Right-clicking is more intensively used now, I can use it to hide dialogue and only see backgrounds whenever I wish now
- Reading previous text now shows up as a bunch of them instead of having to go though every dialogue transition
- No jarring music loop

So just wondering, are there any possible plans to update Ep01's VN system into that akin of Ep02's? Its not such a big thing like a remake or sorts, but then again, I'm not part of the development team, so I'm not sure if that would induce lots of headache doing the coding..

Also a minor suggestion for Ep03 (or also as a patch for Ep01 & 02 if it gets accepted)
- Add a read story percentage status to the save slots?

I don't remember seeing it on episode 1, but in episode 2 you can get an estimate on how long you progressed on the story by looking at the dots on the right corner under the dialogue box. Since there are ten dots in total I deduced that for each dot filled it means you progressed 10% of the story (took me 4 dots to notice there was a correlation between then being filled and the progression of the story)

Ideally, I'd like to have both: A button that toggles a log window through which you can scroll with the mouse wheel, but also the option to use the mouse wheel in normal operation mode to scroll through single dialogue parts, where you can see the facial expression of the speaking character.

I don't know. I prefer it if this is not allowed; especially with this engine, where you can't scroll back except for pure text.
I don't like clicking through text either, instead I use the <return> key.

Ok, I don't like this engine. After loading, the log is completely empty, and I can't see what happened before. Or is there any way to go backwards?

Fortunately, this seems to be only a temporary solution.

about the mouse wheel thing for episode 1, I used external help, namely autohotkey, to change a scroll down input into a click output. So yeah you can just copy this script if you want xD

WheelDown::
Send {Lbutton}
return

reload the script after saving the txt file, enjoy
