As a way to support Christopher Larkin, the composer?

If its already free? You mean donating? There are better ways to make so fans can donate.

All game expansions are free and already part of the main game. You don't need to buy anything other than the game itself. It has everything.

Gods and Nightmares is OST. The 2 DLCs on the store page are just OSTs for diehard fans.

Thought it was a expansion pack because I just bought the main game and haven't been in touch with the fan base/devs ever. steam page did nightmares and gods dirty because its VERY easy to confuse someone new to the fan base.:steamfacepalm:

Neither the large pink rectangle that says "Downloadable Soundtrack" right beside the buy button, nor the description "... an all new collection of 15 epic tracks. ... in this powerful, orchestral collection that brings together all the additional tracks from Hollow Knight and features an entirely new arrangement, Pale Court. Hollow Knight: Gods & Nightmares is composed by Christopher Larkin.", got you there?

to be honest I was not sure, bcz its the first game that I see with 2x soundtracks....no need to be disrespectfull about it ....If u look at the dlcs, one says "soundtrack" the other does not (in its name)

I'm pretty sure the large pink rectangle wasn't always there, and the fact that it doesn't specify soundtrack in the name is part of the problem.
Basically, (at least before the pink rectangle) it could be interpreted as being actual DLC as opposed to a separately downloadable soundtrack. Even the pink rectangle doesn't completely clear it up.

But the simplest proof that the page is very poorly worded is simply the huge amount of confusion that has resulted from its existence, which i haven't seen happen for any other game's soundtrack or even just HK's original soundtrack.

Also, weird how something about DLC contains images of the hive and the abyss
