Coincidentally, using Flukenest since it's been nerfed might not actually be useful. The max damage Flukenest will do with the Shaman Stone equipped is 80, but Shade Soul with the Shaman Stone equipped will also deal 80 damage to big targets, or any targer susceptible to knockback. In other words, you're spending valuable notches on what's essentially just a reduction in attack range.
Okay, thanks. While I'm still not sure if he takes damage, bug or not, the Shade Soul argument is nonetheless pretty convincing. :D I assume he gets double hits from the knockback? I'll definitely try that.
Also found out while he is stabbing himself he takes reduced dmg. Always went ham on him while he was stabbing himself thinking it was effective but the hp bar barely moves during that.
