Radiant Absolute Radiance is just unfair
You don't need skills, you just have to be extremely lucky and hope she doesn't spawn any attack on you, I can't go over the multiplatform phase, no matter how good I play she always f***s me with some unavoidable s**t. Team Cherry should nerf this boss once more, maybe with less health, I'm not the only one who's struggling with this challenge...

The thing I hate about this update is how the lighting, even tho it looks great, hinders your vision. During Uumuu fight you literally can't see the lightning in the bottom area. On this fight, you can't see where she spawns the homing balls if you're close to her. That fight is fair if not for the homing balls attack in the second phase.

Boy you sure know my pain. Umuu is only a ♥♥♥♥♥ to kill sometimes not because of just unpredictable lightning patterns but because it's lightning that meshes with the damn colors!

Cherry team, fellas, game looks great except I think most players would like if it didn't look so great it's distracting

This boss doesn't need its health nerfed, it needs to be fixed.

Attacks clashing with others and making it almost impossible to dodge seems to be a thing only absolute radiance has.

This boss is designed to hit you at least once, but it would be fair if you coul be hit, really hope they do a new patch for the game

I'm particularly fond of it teleporting away and hitting me with offscreen homing balls in the second phase. It's really fun having absolutely no possibility whatsoever to react to the attack. Another great one is how the horizontal nails can spawn while there's still another attack going, and can potentially be spaced such that there is no way to even get through every set without using the shadow dash because you're forced to land between sets and they move too fast to let you jump up to the correct height again.

I've also had a great time with it teleporting to the platform I'm on and glowing, giving me a 50/50 of whether I'm going to die to the radial nails spawning inside me for being too close, but then killing me by spawning the lasers directly inside me as I'm falling off the platform instead. Speaking of the lasers, the fact that they fire so quickly that you can't actually react to the first one and just have to dodge it by luck is really great.

Don't feel bad guys, you just aren't asian enough.
In regards to the lighting someone mentioned , just turn effects off and lower brightness. When I did that the fight becomes much more bearable

If she ever spawns on top of you, remember that descending dark exists

I F*****G DID IT RIGHT NOW, I think I just got extremely lucky, like said before. I still think this boss should be fixed :/

I'm completely fine with the 2nd and 3rd phases of this boss as is. It's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 1st phase that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This boss should NOT have access to floor spikes that cover half the screen. This boss already dictates where you can be with its other attacks, adding spikes makes most of the patters undodgable. And it's a special little ♥♥♥♥ you to the player that she can spend the entire first phase floating above said spikes making it impossible to even damage her. Abosolute garbage design decision.

Actually, first phase imo is the only fair part, because at least you have the ground and not platforms shorter than Zote's di- I mean nail. And if that wasn't challenging enough, the orb attack is just unfair there, especially if it overlaps with another attack. Just to mention the lighting in second phase doesn't help, as it hinders your vision and you can't see some orbs appearing. Haven't yet got to third phase, so I can't really say anything about it, because of the stupid second phase.

I'll check this method out, thanks for pointing this out!

I suppose I'll drop some tips here since I was able to beat it in the pantheon with all my health left.

For the record, my loadout is strength/quickslash/steady body/mark of pride

As soon as the fight starts, you have the opportunity to hit her 3-5 times with quickslash during the first teleport, just jump and spam the attack button as you fall down.

Any time homing projectiles come, forget about trying to attack her, it's vital to focus 100% on dodging here because they spawn pretty much anywhere, even directly next to you sometimes.

Be sure to use the shadow dash sparingly because chances are that beam of light might come at you before the dash even recharges.

The most optimal time to hit her is after she does the tripple light beams or the double sword spiral, you can jump into her and hit her similarly to how she's hit at the start of the fight.

With raining lances, you might get good RNG and end up under her when she does that, if that happens, dodge and poke upwards with small jumps. Otherwise dodge and only poke if you know it's safe.

With the walls of swords, the knight's jump is good enough to dodge all of them without double jumping or dashing apparently. If you play your cards right, this is a safe time to hit radiance. She loves to spam walls, so be quick on your feet.

For the rest of this phase, there's a lot of brief windows of attack that you can use safely, but you need to be careful.

On the second phase, she'll only use the raining lances attack. Just stare at the top of the screen and dodge accordingly. Try not to end up here with 1 mask left, because that annoying "almost dead" effect will block the top of the screen. Don't worry though, it's still possible to dodge.

Even if you made it to the third phase with 1 mask left, the fight is not over. Take advantage of the time she falls over to heal as much as possible, you can get 3-5 masks back here.

Most of the things I've said about the first phase also applies to the third, the most common way to get hit here is trying to go after radiance while she does an attack.

For the homing spheres, try to drop down to one of the lower platforms, chances are homing projectiles could land on platforms and make dodging them easier, once again, no trying to hit radiance during this attack unless you have overflowing git gud juice.

When she does the sword spiral/tripple light beam thing, you have a safe window of attack if you can get to her quickly enough after she attacks.

The tripple light thing also has a very risky but high damage window of attack. If you just so happen to be on one of the platforms where you're directly under her as she does that attack, you can dance under the light beams and hit her a ton of times with quickslash.

Quickslash is also useful for getting a lot of hits in for certain positions, try not to get greedy though.

The wall of swords is one of the best windows of attack in the third phase, dodging is still more important, but you might be able to score a lot of hits in since she sticks to the same position much longer than with the other attack.

If you get through this phase, go to the highest platform this phase has and heal 3-5 masks again, chances are those light beams won't hit you. Gamble with that for a better chance at the end if you want.

The ascent is one of the easiest and tightest phases, the best thing to do is jump directly after a beam comes, but be ready to be quick on your feet or thread a needle if a beam shows up directly where you're going.

The last phase can be both the easiest and the hardest one depending on how you handle it. She's going to alternate teleportation and her only attack is homing projectiles. Hold your ground and stick to one position, trying to follow her around is a pretty decent way to die.

If you jump/double jump, you can bait a projectile into going to the top of the screen and despawn. If you stick to your ground, bait the projectiles, and hit her when she's next to you after the projectile dodge, there shouldn't be any trouble here.

Unfortunately, no matter how good you can get at this fight, RNG can still screw you over with a wombo combo that chains directly into death. Thankfully, this doesn't very often. (rip radiant)

I hope this helps anyone that's having trouble with this.

Good tips, unfortunately RNG is a b***h, so pray that she doesn't hate you :/ . It happened many times that I died for a stupid thing after a good start in a run...
