Hollow Knight 1.2.2.2 Public Beta now available
Hi Everyone,

All players can now access Hollow Knight version 1.2.2.2 via Public Beta.

To access the beta, in your Steam library right-click on Hollow Knight and select 'Properties'. Then from the BETAS tab select 'public-beta'.

Patch notes:
- Fixed missing Dung Defender audio
- Removed erroneous green/blue pixel
- Fixed issue where a boss could be damaged before start of battle
- Minor graphical fixes
- Minor cutscene fixes
- Fixed issue where some enemies and bosses could break when being killed by extra sources of damage eg. Dreamshield, Flukenest
- Fixed issue where lever could be hit through a wall
- Dialogue fixes
- Fix for new boss’s title in Italian
- Fixed issue where Fury of the Fallen didn’t work while wallsliding

My controller is dropping inputs, or sometimes I'll load to a new screen and I'll walk forward without stopping and I haven't even pressed a button! Any fix for this on the way?

Have you tried the Native Controller Input setting in the options?

I encountered a strange bug in Trial of the Conquerer regarding the exploding bat bugs.. posted it into an imgur album with full detaiils

Basically the bug will not register as having died even after exploding and thus i cannot continue with the Trial. This bug does not occur on 1.2.2.1

This is on version 1.2.2.2 for windows

Will there ever be a fix for being able to hit things (enemies, destructible objects etc.) through the ceiling/floor with your Nail? I'm fine with the behaviour staying in the game, I'm just curious if the issue is on the devs radar.

that is exactly what i was gonna say, it feels like cheating to hit them tho so i hope they fix it

Does the Dialog fixes include the seer? In 1.2.2.1 he still says come back with 1000 but you need only 900 for the dreamgate.

We're aware of this, it's intentional. For enemies at least - you're not meant to be able to hit switches and levers.
Speaking of Map Markers, will there ever be maps for areas like the White Palace?

You can't hit switches or levers, but you can break geo deposits and with the Charm that attracts money it can save you from having to solve some puzzles to get to them.

For me the blue/tuequoise pixel is still stuck in the middle of the screen. How is this not fixed yet as there's been many patches after this problem was first discovered. Very irritating.
