Do we know whether the mushroom guy doesn't respawn at all, or he still respawns after a bench rest? Because if it's the latter, there's still a relatively close bench at the Leg Eater vendor.
Yea, if he wants early farming, that's not a bad spot, and I used it myself to get the lantern.
The mushroom guy is faster, but it won't be as efficient an option soon. I'd have to gauge the amount of geo gained between the two and their relative closest benches.
I did it for the light at one point, but yea, other than that, I was usually drowning in geo for most of the game, with only some big purchases or shopping runs dropping me back to 0.
Of course, now that I'm more comfortable with the game I know there's not a need to farm geo. The only potential exception is the lantern (if I want to get the 5hr speedrun) because its cost is so high and it's useful in making certain areas more navigable. I think the earliest geo chest that drops enough for the lantern might be after soul master.
I think this could be a good idea, I'll give it a try. At the very least it'll be more entertaining than killing the same ogre over and over again.
Ha ha ha ha i had to do this too. Grab my shade in the air while bouncing off the enemies. Sucked.
