Hollow Knight 1.0.1.4 (public beta) patch notes
1.0.1.4 is now live on beta branch, and we've added some new fixes to it.

As always, if you encounter a bug, please submit it through to http://hollowknight.com/bugs

Patch Notes below:

- Fixed an issue where opening full map via Quickmap shortcut while in a late game area caused a game-freeze
- Fixed an animation error on player character when exiting a late-game cutscene
- Fixed Shrumish Ogre persistence issue
- Fixed an issue where hitting Zote with Dreamnail during his battle cry made him invincible, which he doesn’t deserve.
- Decreased heap size allocation at start-up
- Fixed issue where Soul Master’s shockwave attack would sometimes not spawn
- Fixed issue with sfx not playing correctly on some breakable one-way walls
- Fixed issue for some players whereby collecting a mask fragment would white out the screen
- Fixed display bug for cages in Colosseum of Fools
- Fixed bug on exiting Trial in the Colosseum of Fools that caused player to become stuck behind metal grate
- Fixed a dialogue issue for Iselda
- Fixed sound effects playing on incorrect mixer and thus being unaffected by in-game audio setting
- Fixed issue where Speed Completion achievement was not being awarded correctly
- Fixed an issue with Thorns of Agony charm not firing correctly when taking damage with inventory open
- Increased Geo reward for defeating Entombed Husk
- Fixed inaccurate hitbox on Broken Vessel/Lost Kin when stunned
- Fixed issue in City of Tears where entering a battle room from the left spawned an enemy outside of room
- Fixed an issue where Lifeseeds and their cocoons couldn’t be damaged by Grubberfly beam

Did you fix the achievement bug that was suppoedly but not actually fixed in the last beta build?

How about fixing the coliseum? Every match I finish I can't exit right, the gate is closed. But If I exit left, I get stuck on the previous screen with no entity to move and have to exit/reload

Team cherry, please, crash already crash when downloading the game. I think other bugs can wait.

After the update 1.0.1.1. (for the release of which I have already played for 25 hours) the game does not start. Loads and everything, is dyed.

I bought your game on the day of the start, on the 24th, I waited for it for a very long time, you could say I counted the minutes.

And now after 25 hours the game does not start. It's not fun. It is unpleasant. That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

It's not a computer, it's a patch. The game itself went well, except for friezes, but they were all (with them you sort of handled already).

Please, in the next update, fix this. To spit on bugs, to spit on logs. I just want to play.

Hi, we've tried to fix this issue for certain machines in this patch. Could you let us know if you're still experiencing this issue after downloading the current public beta, 1.0.1.4?

Yes, it still exists. I installed a beta client in the hope that there is a fix, but it's not there, and so I'm already praying.

I do not know what's the matter, before everything was fine, now nothing at all. Just do not even load the menu.

Is this a known issue maybe fixed in a beta patch after 1.0.1.1? Sometimes in Colosseum level 3, the first soul caster that dies leaves a magic ball suspended forever on the map. It's just there, hanging around being a nuisance. It's hard enough, but it's sometimes left in the most impossibly inconvenient locations, like right along a wall you need in later phases.

Thanks for the reply! When I posted this, it wasn't a patch note! (it was 1.0.1.1, not 1.0.1.4) So fast on the changes! You guys are doing it right...keep on doing what you're doing...and I will eagerly await the next title from Team Cherry

EDIT: I hate to say something like this, but you should increase the price 2x to $29.99. Hollow Knight is EASILY worth that

welp. game was awesome at launch. some stuttering but i managed to handle that myself. game ran perfect otherwise. now, the game runs at 25 fps and there's noticeable input lag. so, brilliant patch -_-
