Even if I save at a bench, if I don't select "quit to menu" (or the game freezes) I lose the shadow
another time i was saving at a bench and came right back to the game ( had ot eat) and it was also gone
Dont blame the game for not holding your hand mate
Either you play the game only for a few minutes, or you just became salty for losing to a certain boss several times.
I guess I'm too used to Dark Souls holding my hand. Don't see why I should bother with grinding tedious rooms of enemies to buy what the game should have started with in the first place. Only seen that done before as a joke.
After i learned how the world is put together i had alot more fun with it.
and recently beat it under 5 hours and on steel soul mode as well. never thought id pull it off, but yeah ^^ after 50 + hours in the main game world, i learned the fastest way to do stuff, and what could be skipped
In fact, you'll eventually get tons of Geos as you explore, to the point that you'll basically decide to empty the shopkeeper's stocks.
i never upgraded my nail in my speed run, never got the nailmaster arts, all i did was beeline to the 3 seals and crush them and then zipped back to the last boss.
i never felt the need to grind in this game after i learned how pointless it really is
