i disagree, the game was easy to play with keyboard, imo better than controller for that game. cant recommend s&s enough btw OP, hollow knight reminded me of it as soon as i started playing.
Guacamelee, too.
I'm pretty much set on Environmental Station Alpha. :) ( I only have 10 bucks and own almost all the others )
Yep. The original Momodora is not, because it's simply too dated by now and doesn't even feature controller support, even though it's still a decent metroidvania that takes strong inspiration from Cave Story.
Iji is a free game, and its developer doesn't see the point of bringing it to Steam because it's also quite old by now, and the graphics are a bit subpar, although I think that's not the grounds to judge a game on.
Not sure about Treasure Adventure Game, but I own it on GOG, it's also a good one, with the focus on (you guessed it) adventures, sea-faring and jolly good time.
Ori is a fun, cute game. I had an absolute blast with the Momodora games. The thing I liked most about the recent Momodora is that the combat has an impactful feel similarly to how Hollow Knight pulls it off.
I can't really think of any other fantastic games I've played in this style at the moment, but I'll edit some in if I do. Overall, I'd say Hollow Knight is my favorite of the bunch.
