EDIT TO ADD: Sometimes the Hiveblood is glitched and won't recover a lost health mask. You have to be careful.
It's not a bug. Once you fully lose a heart, hiveblood won't heal it back.
Fully lose means the HP container is totally empty. You see no 'regenerating' honey in it. You only get the HP back if you don't take damage till that honey fills the container all the way back up.
So taking damage several times in a short amount of time makes Hiveblood nigh useless.
Now, I see what you mean. Don't know what caused that.
It only happened a handful of times, though.
I'd indeed rather not have anything on than have Hiveblood. That thing is a constant distraction. Just trying to know whether it'll regenerate or not is a pain. Seems a lot of charms are nerfed in some manner and I never touched them.
