Hiveblood; ONLY regenning one(1) pip intended?

If so that's just bad and not worth 4 slots, PLEASE tell me it's not like the completely broken Deep Focus that doesn't even work. Despite the fact it at least regens one pip.

Its only one pip, but its enough to get through some of the more...strict platforming parts. That one pip will ALWAYS come back if you give it a few seconds.

No, this is intended. Hiveblood is very very useful against bosses and the arena where you aren't given enough breathing room to heal normally. Also the white castle you will NEED this

Yeah. Those little cheeseburgers will kill your health.

EDIT TO ADD: Sometimes the Hiveblood is glitched and won't recover a lost health mask. You have to be careful.

It's not a bug. Once you fully lose a heart, hiveblood won't heal it back.

It's not a bug. Once you fully lose a heart, hiveblood won't heal it back.

Define fully lose. I mean, I got hit and the region animation on the mask never started. I don't mean that I got hit again. I mean lost 1 health and it occasionally doesn't recover it.

Fully lose means the HP container is totally empty. You see no 'regenerating' honey in it. You only get the HP back if you don't take damage till that honey fills the container all the way back up.

So taking damage several times in a short amount of time makes Hiveblood nigh useless.

Now, I see what you mean. Don't know what caused that.

In the White Palace, I found that if I got hit immedately after the honeycomb HP fully healed, it would count as a full HP for purposes of damage, but Hiveblood wouldn't trigger again, meaning it must not have counted it as fully healed.

It only happened a handful of times, though.

I'd indeed rather not have anything on than have Hiveblood. That thing is a constant distraction. Just trying to know whether it'll regenerate or not is a pain. Seems a lot of charms are nerfed in some manner and I never touched them.
