I'm lost, and about to quit. [Spoilers]
I just got the tram ticket and have no idea where to go. I spent probably 4-5 hours of my playtime lost in this game, and I really just want it to end at this point. Where do I go once I get the ticket?

Yea but it just leads me in circles. OKAY, i'ma head back down and try again. I've defeated like 3 side bosses and different warrior souls at this point.

Did you ever find the capital city of Hallownest? It sounds like you went Crossroads -> Greenpath -> Fungal Wastes -> Deepnest.

If you haven't, then my advice would be to either make your way to the bottom right of Deepnest (where you can use the tram pass) or head back into Fungal Wastes and go the middle right-most point of that area and use the City Crest. Both of these paths get you to access points of the city, which opens up a lot more of the game.

That map doesnt really do me any good if I dont know what I am looking at. I also just released the flow of water into somewhere

You're going to need to give the area you did this action in at minimum if I'm going to be able to give useful advice. Also, listing off the bosses you've beaten already would also be useful info.

Well, you go to the tram...

Mate just search in your map for dead or unexplored ends, you dont need to do everything right before discovering it.

Also, do you know that the tram on the path below has 3 stations, not 2 right?

Royal Waterways is the only place to dump the flow of water. He must have just beaten Dung Defender.

That was my guess, but I want verification before I give any advice. To be honest, I was expecting a new reply at a location either in Deepnest or an area adjacent to Deepnest, not a sudden jump to Royal Waterways.

I've been jumping around. I just got to the first Dreamer in Deepnest

Thanks everyone. I am sorry for my frustration. I was missing both the Crystal Jump thing and Monarch Wings, as well as finding a blacksmith.

To complete the game, the only things you MUST do are slay the three dreamers and then slay the final boss inside the temple to the right of the Dirtmouth entrance/exit. I believe you'll need the double jump (Ancient Basin) and super dash (Crystal Peak) abilities to reach some of the dreamers, but you can complete the game rather quickly if all you want to do is beat it.

The dreamers will be marked on your map once you get the Dream Nail (in Resting Grounds.) Remember that Elderbug in Dirtmouth will always ramble on about the areas you need to visit to continue moving the plot forward. If you have questions on where to go next, see what Elderbug thinks.

I also learned that Conifer only leaves an area when completed
PizzaSHARK May 7, 2017 @ 2:07pm
Correct. You'll need to complete the boss or otherwise "do the thing" before Cornifer will leave and you can just buy the map from the shop. I do recommend taking a peek at the various completed map spoilers if you're having trouble finding him because Team Cherry really did put him in some very out of the way locations (Royal Waterways is particularly frustrating to find.)
